How Were the Credits for the 2022 Tax Year?
If R&D tax credits were oranges, they’d be pretty juicy — especially since Section 174 went into effect for the 2022 tax year.
Since this addition to the tax code reduces the amount of R&D expenses a company can write off annually, the R&D tax credits became all the more important.
Thankfully, no changes were made to the functionality of the Federal R&D credit!
Our clients are receiving credits ranging from about $60,000 – $250,000 for their 2022 tax year from the Federal program alone.

We’re buzzing with excitement about our new partnership with BioBuzz!
BioBuzz’s mission is to connect the life science community in growing biohubs through regionally-focused storytelling, programs, and events.
Our very own Laura Berry has joined the Ambassador of Buzz program to further help aspiring life science companies gain access to a wide array of tools, connections, and resources.
We’re also incredibly grateful to be working with BioBuzz to promote our upcoming BBTC Life Sciences networking dinner in January 2024!
